Who Gets It: Manufacturers
What Is It: This is a new type of email we added to the app where manufacturers can choose to send delivery estimate emails to their dealers.
How It Works: When a manufacturer sets a date for delivery, they can, optionally, notify their dealer about the delivery date. The app will save the new delivery/pick up date and pop up a form, asking the manufacturer to confirm sending the notification to the dealer.
Why It Matters: Cabinet ordering processes usually last anywhere from 10 to, oftentimes, more than 30 days. Retailers complain that communication with manufacturers is commonly the greatest pain point of the process as a whole. As retailers and manufacturers usually communicate via email, the order number gets passed back and forth, and miscommunication happens more often than not. The new type of email we added to the Cabinet Pricing & Ordering app improves the communication between manufacturers and retailers and makes it easier, simpler, and more efficient.
